Four years ago my friend Charles and I ate at the Lahore Kebab House. Then it was run-down with a dumb-waiter to send food up from the kitchen to the loud and cramped second floor dining room. They have tripled their size and Zagat’s lists them and rates the food at a 25 with décor at 8. If the décor is now an 8 - four years ago it must have been a minus 5. My meal was phenomenally delicious. It is BYOB so I purchased two large Stella Artois at the “Off Licence” store next door and enjoyed an hour being watched by Pakistanis who also were watching cricket matches on TV. My Indian waiter was very curious to talk to an American and thinks that electing a black president is monumentally significant.
