Sognefjord

Sognefjord

June 30, 2016

The Sognefjord is the second longest fjord in the world and the longest in Norway (extending 127 miles in from the North Sea). The mountains rise to over a mile high above the water surface and the depths are a mile deep. So from the base of the glacially created mountains to the peaks is about two miles.
