My Father

Albert died on Saturday February 3, 2007.  He was 91 years old.  He died at home.  He was a good guy, a dedicated father and husband, and modestly lived his own life with his family as his top concern.  Our small family is very close and nobody missed the opportunity to savor our last years with him at the core of our function.

    Hello - I am traveling in Switzerland from March 23 to April 5, 2006. I will be staying with Ricardo Carbajal (a friend, painter, and Mexican-American who lived in San Diego for years) and his new wife, Gabriela (a friend, a native-born German-Swiss) at their home outside of Zurich. Then for one week we will adventure together on a grand tour through Switzerland and its Alps.

West Texas

    It is time for the May camping expedition. This year the three week circle will proceed through southern Arizona, to west Texas as far down as Big Bend National Park, through New Mexico and Santa Fe before looping home. Trip dates are May 7th through May 25, 2006.
